Covid-19: Shades and Crisis

Indeed! A virus paused the world

I'll say, 

The world is an interesting movie

That got paused by a deadly virus.

It defy and divide us

As we are subjected to the aloofness 

Of social distancing. 

Even in the mosque, 

We can't stand together in the front of God 

And who says the devil hasn't passed in between us? 

The devil is clothed in the corona raiment 

And it keep haunting us even when we are locked down. 

It's called a cage of protection 

Where the crows have no means to feed with the corns

A cage of protection, 

Where the goats can't feed from the grass. 

Then the world got fatigued and we die of hunger - virus.

The world is left in a crisis 

Where our tears are now oceans

The heads in the streets are left to 

wander in solitude. 

Flourishing businesses begins to 

Un-flourish

As schools will soon turn isolation centers. 

All fingers are crossed to the food-less jaws

With thoughts and questions of 

'when is this going to be over?

Is it when we all stop breathing?
