NEW POEM ALERT

For, I Still Do

For, I Still Do 'My world' was among one of the last things I enchanted my mouth & silence with, to you. I never knew it'll be my last. The trepidation of throwing off your scent Kept afloat on the river of our previous love Get drown, I mean d                                     r                                     o                                     w                                       n ,  & this love never sent me a drowning letter from the heart. Life can be down with one in the dumps, after love was lost in the creed of a bloody assassination, bathed in cold tears  and a peal of horrible laug...

Indeed! A Virus Paused The World

Covid-19: Shades and Crisis Indeed! A virus paused the world I'll say,  The world is an interesting movie That got paused by a deadly virus. It defy and divide us As we are subjected to the aloofness  Of social distancing.  Even in the mosque,  We can't stand together in the front of God  And who says the devil hasn't passed in between us?  The devil is clothed in the corona raiment  And it keep haunting us even when we are locked down.  It's called a cage of protection  Where the crows have no means to feed with the corns A cage of protection,  Where the goats can't feed from the grass.  Then the world got fatigued and we die of hunger - virus. The world is left in a crisis  Where our tears are now oceans The heads in the streets are left to  wander in solitude.  Flourishing businesses begins to  Un-flourish As schools will soon turn isolation centers.  All fingers are crossed to the food-less jaws With tho...

We're Lambs

We're Lambs As the Shepherd,  Ramadan herds us,  It listens to our wants and needs,  & makes us feed from the mercies of Allah.  As the Shepherd; Ramadan Purifies us,  It saw our rebald minds as it's far from piety,  Then cleanse our souls with beautiful words of Allah; 'Al-Qur’an'.  As the Shepherd; Ramadan hasten us To do the good do's and abstain from the bad don't(s), For Allah is the wager of all  Rightful and wrongful deeds. As the Shepherd,  Ramadan led us  through days of spirituality and moral consciousness.  & shall we not go off on a targent of its guidance.  As we're Lambs in the hands of Ramadan, We're well fed but we want more of its blessings from our Lord; The Lord of the Shepherd. May Allah say 'Ameen' To Our Prayers Ameen! ©IBBwrites

A War With The gods

A War with the gods Our ancestors are fast and far asleep.  Their snores echoes through the heavens As they can't hear the hubbub of the world they're meant to guard.  The human world has become the jungle,  Where Rodents became wild.  We lest afraid of rats above lions.  Our world has been doomed  Our fleshes are served in feast  By the beast that have us killed.  The Yewa river is no more drinkable  For the maternal.  In our world,  Thunders impersonate the rainbows. The sage no longer foresee  Like Orunmila   All they see now is the noun Placed on the loins of a sultry lass.  Èṣù crossed our paths  So many believed  As he announced the dethronment of Olódùmarè   This is a taboo on us,  The world is left with no gratitude  As we are all left in failing aptitudes.  Our pains are worn like togs of war Darkness upsurge the light of Obatala We need st...

4 Loaves For The Lockdown

4 Loaves 🥪 For The Lockdown I want to say this to our ears For us to pass it to our heirs. For our ears has turn deaf, As those words means no def. The heroes of yesterday Are cowards of today How will morrow's leaders Won't call the bull a sister All in the name of beef? Covid-19 planned a coup on our leaders The air has blown out The ass of the chicken they lead They sit at home, no vacation, As Coronation is all over the nations. Teachers are hungry Hustlers are angry Yet, A Speaker is happy As he shares Four loaves per building, All in the name of lockdown. Craziness doesn't have immunity A. V Dicey has given them much security, We're now equal in hands of a virus Yet, they're still looking for a way to defy us.   _Writing from Nigeria_   _13:35pm_    ©IBBwrites

The Temple I could not Worship

The Temple I could not Worship   Location: Cloud 9 Club House, off moon Road, Jupiter State.  Time: 9pm I walked into the dance hall  Which was my first time  Since I've travelled to a new planet.  And, here comes she...  ... dancing through my gaze 00:00 seconds, my focus changed  towards her set of loins. She has no face but beauty is all I see.  She wears a sexy smile  That could pull of my cloths at a glance. Oh, this is not my doom day And waiting to groom her on my wedding day  Is like a dream never come through.  And here she is,  Drinking from the thirsty ocean  of my assorted salty lips.   I thought it was a joke  When her hands moon walked  through my infantry hairy chest.  She halt at the center For me to catch some vibes. And as the music keep playing on, On and on and on and on...  The more I become lost and migh...

IF THE SUN IS A STAR

The day will flutter Like a blinded butterfly Dazzling around in a sphere. If the sun is a star,  The day will shine like the waves in the air.  Sporting around mountains.  If the sun is a star,  The day will gleam In hopeful hopes, hoping The hopes to be fulfilled. If the sun is a star, The day will appear In a pair of yellow rays As it raise in between two indifferent towers. If the sun is a star,  Fate and destiny Will collide in endless dreams, Leaving dreams in less ends. If the sun is a star, Our days will be tiny Like a star, But all the dreams dreamt, Shall be fulfilled All in a single day.  ©IBBwrites  2020
